This week, United Rentals hosted their 4th Annual AFPM Sporting Clays for Charity tournament at Elm Fork Shooting Range in Dallas, Texas. The tournament was held Monday before the AFPM Reliability and Maintenance Conference. The event drew over 100 shooters from a variety of industries to compete for bragging rights while also raising money for Fisher House Dallas, an organization that offers safe, comfortable housing to families of Veterans receiving health care at Dallas VA Medical Center.
Inspectioneering VP and General Counsel Jeremiah Wooten said the event was "a great experience that all participants, no matter what their level of shooting ability, could enjoy and walk away feeling good about the impact they've made on the local community. Kudos to the entire United Rentals team for bringing everyone together to support a worthy cause."
Fisher House, similar to Ronald McDonald House, provides free temporary lodging for families of VA patients. For more information about Fisher House or to make a donation, visit www.fisherhouse.org.
