MISTRAS Group Earns 2023 Houston Business Roundtable Safety Excellence Award

The HBR awards recognize contract companies and their partners in the chemical, refining, and energy industries for outstanding safety performance through HBR’s audit process. In addition, they bring together Gulf Coast companies and contractors in a cooperative and collaborative effort to improve on-site safety, minimize accidents, and reduce injuries to personnel.

MISTRAS was recognized as Best in Class in the “Technical Support Large” category, and was the only company to receive this distinction in this category. After being nominated by four customers, MISTRAS underwent a rigorous evaluation process, including a thorough analysis of safety data. In addition, a field evaluation was conducted to verify the effectiveness of the company's safety programs, which found that their programs exceed requirements and include exceptional best practices. MISTRAS recently won Gold awards in the Technical Support Large category in 2022 and 2019.
