Syed holds API certifications in materials and corrosion (API 571), risk-based inspection (API 580), pressure vessels inspection (API 510), piping inspection (API 570), welding and metallurgy (API 577), tank inspections (API 653), and refractory inspections (API 936). He is also certified as a Senior Corrosion Technologist by NACE, USA. Along with his 10 years of experience in RBI, coatings, and corrosions, Syed has authored numerous publications in renowned journals and magazines. Moreover, Syed has an active affiliation with various corrosion management-related bodies such as AMPP (Association for Material Protection & Performance), API (American Petroleum Institute), and ICORR (Institute of Corrosion UK).
