In 1978, Donald Brou started working in the industrial sector as a combination welder. In August 1983 he started his inspection career and has accumulated over 31 years of inspection experience with the last 18 plus years in management, coordination, and supervision. He is API 510, 570, and 653 certified. He has served as a member of the API Individual Certification Program Task Force for the last 10 plus years which includes involvement in item writing, exam construction, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert in the pass point studies for API 510, 570, and 653. Donald is currently employed as Technical Services Manager for Capitol Ultrasonics, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA.
