Australia's North West Shelf LNG Hit by Partial Outage

S&P Global Platts, November 13, 2017

LNG production at Australia's North West Shelf project was disrupted by a partial outage early Friday, project operator Woodside said on Saturday. "At approximately 2 am, on November 10, 2017, the Karratha Gas Plant experienced an unplanned partial LNG outage," a Woodside spokeswoman said in a statement.  "A sequenced restart is well progressed to restore full LNG production in a safe manner," she added.

Woodside did not confirm the scale of the outage, though market sources told S&P Global Platts on Friday that output had been halted from more than one train although some affected production had returned during the day.
