Enterprise Products Restarting Five Units at Mont Belvieu, TX Facility Following Maintenance Turnaround

Following a two-week planned maintenance turnaround, Enterprise Products Partners is restarting the isomerization, de-isobutanizer, mercaptan oxidation, pentane stripper, and cogeneration units at its petrochemical complex in Mont Belvieu, TX, and expects to be completed by November 11, according to a company filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The filing also estimates that 2,000 lb of isobutane, 2,000 lb of normal butane and 4,000 lb of carbon monoxide among others will be flared during the start-up process.
