Materials Technology Institute (MTI) Offering FRP Inspection Training

Materials Technology Institute, August 23, 2016

Missouri-based Materials Technology Institute (MTI), a non-profit materials engineering organization, is offering three multi-day training programs covering Inspection of In-Service FRP Equipment & Piping. This unique program will provide a comprehensive overview of the areas that are of critical importance for evaluating the quality and conformance of plant FRP equipment and piping, as well as providing some basis around fitness-for-service.

MTI’s classroom-style sessions are intended for personnel who are plant, engineering or materials personnel and inspectors that want to improve their knowledge and understanding with respect to in-service FRP inspections.

The program schedule is listed below:

  • September 13-15, 2016, Philadelphia, PA
  • December 6-8, 2016, Houston, TX
  • January 24-26, 2017, Baton Rouge, LA
