Fire Reported at Imperial Oil's Ontario Refinery

A fire was reported on Monday at Imperial Oil's 121,000 bpd refinery in Sarnia, Ontario. According to sources familiar with plant operations, the fire originated in a refinery sub station, however the root cause of the blaze has not been announced at this point. Local emergency officials were notified, but additional support was not requested, indicating that the fire was relatively minor and under control.
