Greg Alvarado Joins the Trinity Bridge Team

Houston, Texas – May 31, 2016 – Trinity Bridge, LLC  (www.trinity-bridge.com), a leader in risk analysis methodologies, materials and inspections services, announced today that Greg Alvarado has become a company principal focusing on business development and management consulting in the Mechanical Integrity (MI), Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) and inspection areas. Mr. Alvarado’s new position underscores the Trinity Bridge commitment to excellence in providing superior consulting services to the oil and gas industries.

Mr. Alvarado has over 35 years of experience as an owner/operator, consultant, chief chemist and corrosion/materials NDE specialist, working with both plant facilities and central engineering groups. “Greg is one of the best in the business,” said Trinity Bridge CEO/founder Lynne C. Kaley. “His joining us signals our commitment to growing and diversifying our business to provide a wider range of risk analysis products and services. Greg will play a key role in the direction and speed of our growth.”

Mr. Alvarado has specialized in RBI consulting, training and project management since 1996. He has been a member of the API Sub-Committee on Inspection for 29 years as well as a long-time working member of the API group that created the recommended practices for RBI, API RP 580 and API RP 581. At Trinity Bridge, Mr. Alvarado will provide management, NDE technical consulting, equipment lifecycle/fixed equipment reliability program gap assessments and RBI consulting. 

He has served as an invited guest speaker on creating sustainable reliability strategies for fixed equipment in the US, Canada, South America, Europe, Caribbean, Australia, Middle East, Asia, and eastern Europe. He is an experienced API Trainer who has helped train the next generation of reliability and mechanical integrity professionals in plants throughout the US and worldwide.

Mr. Alvarado was an invited participant/interviewee for the RAND study, New Forces at Work in Refining - Industry Views of Critical Business and Operations Trends (a critical look at industrial infrastructure as part of national security), in 2003. He is the founder and an owner of Inspectioneering and currently serves as Chief Editor of Inspectioneering Journal.
