Announcing Our Newest Editorial Board Member: George Williamson, PE

We rely on the subject matter expertise and wisdom of our Editorial Board members to help us maintain our editorial direction and what we should be covering in terms of new or changing practices, methodologies, technologies, and trends. When they speak, we listen.

That said, we are excited to welcome George Williamson, PE, to our Editorial Board. George has over 30 years of equipment integrity management, operations, and maintenance experience as a major asset owner with ARCO and BP. His roles have included managing global oil and gas production facilities, pipelines, and subsea systems in over 20 countries. He has also been accountable for developing and managing the implementation of fixed equipment strategies, which include utilization of NDE, NDE programmatics, robotics, permanently installed sensors, modular components, inherently safe designs, and data analytics.

George brings a wealth of expertise in upstream and midstream fixed equipment reliability. This includes regulatory requirements and technical and practically applied field applications. Welcome to the Board, George!
