Calvin Coolidge once wrote: “nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.” While talent, genius, and education often fall short, he proclaimed that “persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” This is a message that I have always taken to heart, and something that I have tried to instill in every facet of what we do within our organization.
We are constantly striving to improve Inspectioneering. The most important ways we do this are by persistently seeking high-quality asset integrity information; creating clear, simple, and intuitive ways for you to utilize our resources; and forging an identity that embodies who we are.
By now, you have probably noticed that Inspectioneering Journal recently underwent a facelift. We wanted to re-engineer Inspectioneering so that all aspects of the company, including aesthetics, convey the culture we aim to maintain. The new brand has been years in the making and represents three core concepts that we believe are vital to the Inspectioneering community:
- Integrity - Fundamentally, the new “I” logo represents integrity; the value that underpins both the technical needs and the character of our community.
- Clarity - The logo is clear and simple in its design, which contrasts the complex nature of our industry. Furthermore, the “I” is straightforward, which represents our commitment to unbiased and pragmatic information.
- Responsibility - If you look closely, you will notice that the image depicts a set of open doors. This imagery reinforces that we are all the gatekeepers of our industry—protecting the integrity of equipment, our companies’ bottom lines, and most important, the people on which this industry relies.
Stay Persistent. Stay Determined.
Sincerely,
Tyler Alvarado, Director/Publisher
