María Camila is a Mechanical Engineer and chorister who graduated from the Universidad Industrial de Santander in 2023. During her academic time, she excelled in various fields of research and teaching, especially in thermal systems, materials, and aerospace. Passionate about excellence, she managed to do her student internship in the largest company in Colombia, Ecopetrol, where she obtained recognition in the Operational Excellence Department. Her outstanding performance in the pilot of Optimization of Maintenance Plans in static equipment led to a considerable economic impact in the production sector through the creation and design of processes, analysis, and data migration. In addition, Maria Camila worked with her mentor in the development of a PDCA cycle-based methodology for the ILI process and created integrity strategies for critical valves. Currently, she holds the role of Integrity and Reliability Support Engineer and leads the static equipment optimization project at Ecopetrol's Central Regional Vice-Presidency, collaborating with a contractor company.
