General Manager Applied Metallurgy & Health, Safety, and Environment, Indian Oil Research & Development Centre
Dr. Bhattacharya joined Indian Oil Corporation Research and Development Centre in 1993 and is presently working as General Manager of Applied Metallurgy & Health, Safety, and Environment. She received a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from IIT Delhi and received M.E. and B.E. degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from Bengal Engineering College in West Bengal, India. Dr. Bhattacharya is responsible for structural reliability analysis of refining industry infrastructure and successful conduct of R&D projects to improve capability as a part of applied metallurgy. Her commitment is to provide accurate failure diagnostics and reliable recommendations for plant operators to ensure structural reliability.
