Matthew Bell, P.Eng., has worked for IRISNDT since 2010 as a failure analyst for many industries, including fertilizer, oil and gas, petrochemical, and pipelines. He has worked with a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta (2007) and achieved a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta (2018) while working full-time. Matthew is passionate about fostering learning and supporting education. He has enjoyed opportunities as a guest lecturer for the University of Alberta Materials Engineering students with both in classroom learning and hands-on examination of failure samples.
