Nolan Miller is a licensed mechanical engineer with over thirty (30) years of experience in the petrochemical and natural gas industries with extensive experience in Project Management and Maintenance Management; he now leads the Mechanical Integrity Compliance for Sasol North America’s Asset Integrity Program. He also provides technical support and engineering consulting to all levels of Sasol’s capital and maintenance issues. Nolan’s involvement and networking with API and HF Alkylation experts helps bring new technologies through industry organizations. He contributes time and effort to API’s (ICP) Inspector Certification Program, a position which involves setting the standard for our new API Inspectors.

If we could measure, understand, mitigate, and most importantly, control corrosion, we can do a better job of keeping the product in the pipes. To accomplish this task, we needed to know what is causing the corrosion and how to control it.
