Josh Havekost is a Project Team Lead at the BP Whiting Refinery. In his current role he manages the technical development of all new hire discipline engineers and their assigned project portfolios. He also supports the central reliability group with an emphasis on fixed equipment design and repair. He has held previous positions as Inspection Engineer, Project Engineer and Unit Reliability Engineer. Josh has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and is a Professional Engineer.

The Civil Structures Management Program (CSMP) at the BP Whiting Refinery was developed in 2004. Since the program’s inception, millions of dollars have been spent in the yearly execution of refinery structural repairs.
