Dr. Noam Amir: About the Author

Dr. Noam Amir is a world-leading expert in the area of theoretical and applied acoustics. Receiving his D.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1993, he went on to do two year post doctorate research at the Laboratoire d'Acoustique, Universite du Maine, in Le Mans, France. Dr. Amir co-founded AcousticEye in 2006 with the purpose of commercializing Acoustic Pulse Reflectometry for use in the NDT industry. Dr. Amir has authored over 50 academic and commercial publications and holds 6 patents/patents-pending; all in the field of acoustics and related applications.
