What You Do:

As an Advanced NDT Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the continuous development and growth of our advanced NDT services.

Reports to: Director, Inspection Services

Location: Pasadena, TX

Accountable for:

Delivering Client Satisfaction: Facilitating the delivery of technical content in an accurate and timely manner and swiftly resolving technical concerns and issues with the client.
Executing with Excellence & Expanding our Impact: Guiding the growth and technical excellence of the Nondestructive Testing (NDT) business sector
Networking and Development of Business Opportunities: Building and maintaining network within the major industry groups while leading industry improvements

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a business plan aimed to generate $15 MM in revenue from advance NDT Services within 5 years
Manage all personnel assignments within the AVS UT division
Capture capabilities of team members, identify and close potential gaps and make applicable training/resources available to ensure team members’ development, satisfaction and success at achieving company expectations
Ensure that standard procedures, metrics/ KPIs/common reports are used so that performance can be measured across teams.
Maintain ongoing communication with the PinnacleART team to ensure effective operations
Define the “value proposition” of a project and ensure value is communicated to client
Engage in sales activities to ensure that financial growth targets for the managed technique(s) are achieve

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in mechanical integrity
5+ years of field experience with advance ultrasonic testing techniques.
Proven leadership skills
Experience in Turnarounds
ASNT Level III Certification in Ultrasonic Testing
At least one of the following certifications: API QUPA, QUTE, QUSE
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be willing to travel 35% of the time, domestic
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Level III in NDT
Other API certifications
