Jonathan Dobis has worked in the field of materials and corrosion in the Refining and Chemical Process Industries for the past 39+ years. He has been involved in RBI implementation for over twenty years including RBI assessments of many HF Alkylation Units and has authored or co-authored over 25 technical publications including five in the area of HF Alkylation. His background includes 10 years as a Refinery Metallurgist at a major east coast refinery. He has a BS and MS in Metallurgical Engineering; is a registered Professional Engineer; and an AMPP-NACE Corrosion Specialist.
