Aslam Kittur is a professional mechanical engineer with expertise in troubleshooting integrity issues related to static equipment based in Ras Tanura Refinery of Saudi ARAMCO. He has over 23 years in performing complex stress and thermal analysis to simulate chronic failures in equipment and establish root causes for developing solutions corrective designs. Mr. Aslam has an M.S. degree in solid mechanics and employs FEM-based structural and thermal simulations that are often required for a Level-III API-579 Fitness-For-Service Evaluation. Prior to joining Saudi Aramco, he was involved in a similar capacity for 10 years in the Canadian oil sands facilities.
