Rethinking Piping Inspection Locations: How Effective Asset Integrity Data Unlocks Opportunities for CML Optimization

Becht, August 14, 2025

Webinar Overview

Condition monitoring location (CML) optimization is a powerful tool for reducing inspection costs and risks. With years of valuable piping inspection data accumulated across process facilities, organizations have an opportunity to analyze this historical data and identify piping circuits that may be over- or under-inspected—revealing areas where spending can be optimized and safety improved. Once these determinations are made, different strategies can be employed to determine which CMLs should be archived.

Join us as Inspectioneering teams up with Becht for our webinar, “Rethinking Piping Inspection Locations: How Effective Asset Integrity Data Unlocks Opportunities for CML Optimization.” This technical presentation will explore how modern corrosion control documents (CCDs) enable high-quality CML optimization, the key considerations before implementing such an initiative, and the advantages and limitations of incorporating statistical analysis into the process. The session will also highlight real-world case studies that illustrate the impact of these approaches.
