Webinar Overview
Heat treating is the controlled heating and cooling of metals to modify their physical and mechanical properties, enhancing material strength and improving manufacturability. This process is essential to counteract the damaging effects of high temperatures and severe temperature gradients seen in welding, and to alleviate residual stresses from bending and forming.
TEAM, Inc. joins Inspectioneering to discuss the most common methods of field heat treating and review new code requirements affecting the industry. Additionally, highlights of recent innovations will be shared that address these updated requirements, reduce reliance on a shrinking skilled labor pool, and assist in achieving cost control goals.
