Partnership with Data Pioneer Solutions to Expand plantOS in North America and Japan

Chiyoda Corporation, May 15, 2025

Chiyoda Corporation (Chiyoda) has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Data Pioneer Solutions (DPS), an American based technology solutions provider, to expand the reach of plantOS, Chiyoda’s comprehensive O&M total solution platform, in North America. Through this collaboration, DPS will serve as the primary point of contact for American customers utilizing plantOS solutions.

Under the partnership, Chiyoda will deliver its advanced digital O&M technologies, including O&M Mother (IoT solution) and EFEXISTM (Process Digital Twin solution), to the American market through DPS, while remotely managing system operations.

This initiative will support refineries across the USA that are facing increasing regulatory pressure to adopt renewable feedstocks, a transition that presents operational challenges due to fluctuating feedstock compositions. To address these challenges, Chiyoda and DPS will offer EFEXIS, enabling refineries to integrate renewable feedstocks or sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production within existing infrastructure while minimizing capital investment.

O&M Mother will also be deployed to monitor mechanical integrity online, ensuring that plantOS provides comprehensive operational and mechanical integrity coverage. This capability allows refineries to enhance plant safety and reliability while optimizing performance under varying operational conditions.

DPS, a former subsidiary of E2G, brings significant expertise and proprietary technologies in mechanical integrity and engineering consultancy. Through this partnership, Chiyoda will introduce advanced mechanical integrity solutions into the Japanese market, expanding the scope of plantOS beyond operational intelligence to include cutting-edge maintenance strategies.

Chiyoda also plans to integrate DPS mechanical integrity knowledge with their own AI-driven chat system, Dr. ChAS, enhancing plant support services by providing real-time engineering assistance to plant personnel facing operational challenges. This integration will create a seamless interface between American developed mechanical integrity expertise and Chiyoda’s AI-powered operational intelligence, benefiting industrial plants in both regions.

This strategic collaboration strengthens Chiyoda’s presence in North America and facilitates the exchange of technological expertise between Japan and the USA, creating a unified ecosystem that enhances efficiency, safety and sustainability in industrial operations.
