API's 2024 Inspection and Mechanical Integrity Summit is currently accepting abstract submissions through June 5, 2023.
The Summit features three Industry Divisions and a Multi-Sector Division (applicable to all sectors) that run concurrently. Each day will offer technical sessions that span various areas of the oil, gas, and chemical industries. Therefore, each Division is further broken down into three core tracks (as shown below). In addition, four focused tracks are utilized to address specific topics (as shown below). The Summit’s main program for all sessions, including panels, runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Individual presentation sessions will be 35 minutes in length, which includes time for Q&A at the end. Training day sessions will be held on Monday.

- Upstream (Drilling, Sub Sea, Production Systems)
- Midstream (Pipelines, Terminals, Tankage, Transportation)
- Downstream (Petrochemical, Refining, & Chemical processing)
- Multi-Sector (presentation topic applies to more than one division)

- Inspection/NDE/Monitoring (methods, techniques, technology, procedures)
- Metallurgy/Corrosion (damage mechanisms, failures, IOWs)
- Engineering & Asset Integrity Management (IDMS, FFS, RBI, reliability engineering)
Focused Tracks:
- Risk Based Inspection
- Storage Tanks
- Unmanned Inspection Systems (drones, robots, remote inspection)
- Summit Theme: Raising the Bar – Improving Performance and Reducing Risk
