The Summit Planning Task Group has added a new presentation opportunity to showcase emerging and new technology relevant to mechanical integrity in any of the sectors covered within the program: Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream. This opportunity to present during lunch in 15-minute sessions is available to all exhibitors, based on the following criteria:
- Exhibitors may submit a topic for new technology or emerging technology that will be or was just recently made commercially available, as judged by the Program Planning Committee.
- The focus of the presentation is technology, but names and company logo are permitted on the first and last slide.
- There are only 12 presentation slots during lunch sessions available, so if the Program Planning Committee agrees that your topic is new/emerging technology, a lottery from all accepted topics will take place to define the final presentation agenda.
- Presentations should be short, focused, and will be timed in order to keep the program moving. We recommend keeping the presentation to 10 minutes in order to allow 5 minutes for Q&A or discussion.
Submitting a presentation for an Emerging & New Technology: DEADLINE – June 24, 2022
Please include a short summary of your topic, including how it is new, different, and how the technology is applicable to Summit attendees.
- Please include the name and title of the presenter
- Indicate if you will include demonstration items / equipment in addition to your slides
- One submittal per exhibitor will be permitted
To submit a topic for consideration during the lunch sessions, please submit topic as outlined above to Andri Orphanides (AndriO@api.org) by the deadline stated.
