For industrial facilities, sound control is critical to reduce noise pollution and meet OSHA requirements. Johns Manville (JM) recently tested their MinWool-1200® Pipe insulation with their metal jacketing and mass loaded vinyl (MLV) to the ISO 15665 acoustical standard. Using these three materials, JM developed three different configurations to meet all four ISO 15665 classes, including the stringent, Class D3 requirements.
Join JM’s Scott Sinclair and Jacob Lass for their Insulation Intel® webinar, Industrial Noise Control: Strategies for Acoustical Insulation (https://bit.ly/3dxACMu), on Thursday, June 25, at 2:00 PM ET. JM will discuss the ISO 15665 acoustical standard and test method, and how you can better understand the data in order to design an effective sound control method for your application and facility.
JM will cover the following topics before concluding with a live Q&A where you can bring your questions directly to their experts:
- Influencing sound control
- How materials are tested for acoustical performance
- Understanding & using ISO 15665
- Test results from ISO 15665 testing
- Designing effective thermal-acoustic systems
All attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion that may be submitted for credit toward professional development hours (PDH)*.
