AsInt, Inc. Announces Partnership with John Aller

AsInt, Inc. is pleased to formally announce a joint project with John Aller to deliver a Risk Based Inspection (RBI) semi-quantitative model for its customers. AsInt believes in providing options, therefore this offering will allow users to choose between the latest API 581 3rd Edition or this new model.

John Aller graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Materials Engineering. He started his professional career by spending 20 years working for a major multinational petrochemical company in a broad variety of technical and management capacities, starting as a maintenance engineer and ending up as the corporate manager of engineering. He spent a further 20 years consulting in the process industry. At DNV, he was the program manager for the development of the API method for Risk Based Inspection. He helped start Capstone Engineering and Capstone Software and consulted with over 100 sites to implement RBI. He was President of Lloyd's Register Americas, Managing Director at TWI North America, and Executive Director of the Materials Technology Institute. John has published books, technical articles, and made dozens of technical presentations on Risk Management.
