Early this morning, a large explosion at the Watson Grinding and Manufacturing facility in northwest Houston killed two people and damaged nearby homes. Officials said ingredients used to make polypropylene were released from the explosion, but there were no significant problems with air quality in the surrounding area. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
