Global industry leaders of inspection, maintenance and cleaning robotics for capital-intensive infrastructure gather in Rotterdam.

The second edition of the World Conference for Inspection and Maintenance Robotics will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The conference and exhibition are organized by the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative, an end-user driven, not-for-profit foundation.

The initiative gathers a global community to share the innovative progress and rapid development of robotics techniques and solutions, focusing on the use of robotics for inspection, maintenance, repairs and cleaning. The World Conference for Inspection and Maintenance Robotics takes place on 22-23 October 2019 at international conference centre De Doelen.

The rapid acceleration of the development and deployment of new technologies for the inspection, maintenance and cleaning robotics sector is driven by the needs of asset owners to improve efficiency and ensure human and environmental safety. The global industrial inspection and maintenance market is valued at $450 Billion which reflects the massive opportunity for implementing robotic solutions.

George Williamson, Segment Engineering Technical Authority of Inspection at BP and Chairman of the Conference Program Committee, commented: “After a successful first edition last November 2018 in Galveston, Texas, we are proud to announce the second edition of this industry specific event to endorse the large-scale application of robotics for inspection and maintenance. With this conference we facilitate assembling all stakeholders of an industry which is developing in a rapid pace. From its origin, SPRINT Robotics is well represented in the petrochemical sector. This year, the conference program will intensify broadening the scope to new market sectors such as energy, civil & public infrastructure and aerospace. The program will include over 60 international speakers, networking opportunities, workshops and an exhibition showcasing and demonstrating robotic solutions from service and technology providers out of the industrial inspection, maintenance and cleaning domain. We expect to welcome well over 400 industry thought leaders in the robotics industry to Rotterdam”.
