BP Achieves Record Crude Throughput at Whiting Refinery, April 17, 2018

The $4.2 billion modernization project at BP's Whiting Refinery is now paying off for the London-based energy company. BP said in its annual report that it achieved record crude throughput levels at the 430,000 bpd refinery in 2017.

"Better safety and improved operational reliability, combined with strong discipline in our cash and capital costs, fed through into our financial performance," CEO Bob Dudley said in the annual report.
