1 Person Seriously Injured in Explosion at Australian Refinery

A man was seriously injured following an explosion at an oil refinery in Western Australia. Maintenance work was being conducted at the refinery, which is owned by Wren Oil, when the incident occurred. The man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The cause of the explosion is under further investigation.
