Europe's Biggest Oil Refinery Plans to Restart Key Unit

Royal Dutch Shell will reportedly attempt to restart one of two shutdown crude distillation units (CDU) on Friday at the company's 404,000 bpd Pernis Refinery in the Netherlands. Shell shut most units at the refinery, Europe's largest, following a power outage caused by a fire on the evening of July 29th. A spokesman for the company declined to comment.
