Hindustan Petroleum Gets Green Light to Expand RBPL Pipeline

India's Hindustan Petroleum Company Ltd. (HPCL) has received environment clearance to expand its 150 mile Ramanmandi Bahadurgarh Petroleum Products Pipeline (RBPL) from its current capacity of 4.71 million tonnes per year to 8 million tonnes per year. The expansion project is estimated to cost approximately $3.5 million USD. HPCL owns two refineries in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam with wide network of distribution and marketing infrastructure throughout India.
