BP Completes $80M Overhaul at Australian Refinery

BP has reportedly completed an $80 million turnaround at the company's 138,000 bpd refinery in Kwinana, Australia. The maintenance project, the largest in the facility's 60-year history, required an additional 1800 contractors to complete. 

BP Refinery Kwinana managing director Des Gillen said “the work carried out ensures we can continue to compete with overseas refiners," and that the company's "continued investment ensures we will continue to provide our customers with a reliable supply of quality fuel for many more years.
