Huntsman reiterated this notion in an interview with Bloomberg this week, stating that a number of companies would be suitable merger candidates for Huntsman following the planned separation of its Pigments and Additives business (to be known as Venator Materials Corporation). Huntsman operates more than 100 manufacturing and R&D facilities in approximately 30 countries and employs approximately 15,000 people, including more than 1,300 in the Houston area.
