Pertamina to Build New 300,000 bpd Refinery in Indonesia

The Indonesian government has assigned state energy company PT Pertamina to build a refinery at Bontang in East Kalimantan, deputy energy minister Arcandra Tahar told reporters on Friday. The appointment was made to accelerate the development process of the project, Tahar said. The refinery is slated to have a 300,000 barrel per day capacity.
