P66 Shuts Down San Francisco Refinery Dock after Oil Sheen Discovered in San Pablo Bay

Last week, Phillips 66 shut down a marine dock at the company's 140,000 bpd San Francisco Refinery after a 1-mile wide oil sheen was discovered in the San Pablo Bay. The sheen has since dissapated and does not require any further cleanup according to the U.S. Coast Guard. It is unclear at this point if P66 has any connection to the oil slick. Local authorities are still investigating a range of potential sources.
