Stuttgart – The international expert organisation DEKRA expands its industrial business considerably on the African continent. DEKRA has signed a purchase agreement for the full acquisition of the Raysonics Group in Vanderbijlpark south of Johannesburg. Raysonics is a market leader for non-destructive testing (NDT) in South Africa.
Raysonics has over five locations in the major industrial centres of South Africa and employs over 300 highly qualified persons. The company offers a broad range of conventional techniques for non-destructive testing (NDT) as well as advanced testing methods. Its clients are from the power generation and petro-chemical plants sectors as well as from industries such as mining, steel production, casting, aviation and rail transport. Raysonics also operates with its services in the neighbouring countries of Mozambique, Namibia, Angola, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
