Since the publication of NACE MR0175/ISO 15156, "Petroleum and natural gas industries- Materials for use in H2S-containing environments in oil and gas production," in December 2003, the ISO Maintenance Panel set up to maintain this widely used standard and the Oversight Committee, NACE Task Group (TG) 299, has reviewed and approved 15 proposals for change to the standard.
These revisions have now been published as Technical Corrigenda, which are now available from NACE. The balloted items have been combined in some cases into one Technical Corrigenda for the section of the standard to which they apply, since the standard comprises three parts.
The corrigenda are as follows:
- NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-1 Technical Corrigendum 1
- NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-2 Technical Corrigendum 1
- NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-3 Technical Corrigendum 1
- NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-3 Technical Corrigendum 2
The corrigenda are available as an Addenda Package containing only the four corrigenda, but are also included as part of the package with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156, depending on whether or not a user already owns the main standard.
The Maintenance Panel has responded to more than 100 inquiries since the standard was published; to access the file of inquiries and answers, go to http://www.iso.org/ISO15156Maintenance.
