1-Click FFS and Other Automated Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) Tools for Optimizing Production and Reducing Risk

Inspectioneering and Gecko Robotics, May 21, 2025

Overview

The modernization and automation of onstream inspection tools are helping make truly non-intrusive inspections (NII) a reality. The development and enhancement of applications—including robotics, data, AI, and other emerging technologies—are optimizing antiquated procedures and driving enterprise-wide efficiencies.

Modern robotics and automated sensor platforms acquire millions of data points previously unattainable for advanced analysis. Codes developed by the American Petroleum Institute (API), as well as other engineering analysis codes, are not typically written with these large datasets and high resolutions in mind. Therefore, the use of additional tools, including artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, enable real-time data processing and insights, allowing for optimized resource allocation and predictive maintenance strategies that reduce downtime. Digital twins allow operators to simulate and observe processes in a risk-free environment, safely optimizing production. Collectively, these tools enable end users to make once complex decisions with confidence and ease.

Join us on Wednesday, May 21, at 1:00 PM CDT as Inspectioneering teams up with Gecko Robotics and Modus Operations for our latest webinar, “1-Click FFS and Other Automated Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) Tools for Optimizing Production and Reducing Risk.” In this presentation, you’ll learn how complete and connected solutions seamlessly integrate real-time data with analytics and visualization tools to drive decisions that reduce unplanned downtime, maximize production, and extend asset life. Join Brian O’Leary and Dylan Jacobson as they demonstrate the impact of automated tools on decision making workflows using real-life scenarios, including:

  • 1-click FFS (level 1 & 2)
  • Automated repair plans and report generation
  • Real-time defect detection
  • Interactive site view and NII screening

The discussion will conclude with a brief Q&A session to address any questions submitted during the presentation.
