Barry Snider, MBA, PE, is President and CEO of Small Hammer Incorporated, a consulting company that develops customized Asset Integrity Management (AIM) strategies for the oil and gas industry. Barry has recently designed a new strategy entitled Real-Time Integrity Management© that promises to change the way oil and gas facilities perform maintenance and inspections. Barry has a BSME degree from West Virginia University, many post graduate hours at Ohio University, and an MBA in Organizational Psychology from American Intercontinental University. Barry has contributed to DOT 49 CFR 195 Code for Pipeline Integrity Management, API RP 17N, Subsea Production System Reliability, and API 691, Risk Based Integrity Management for Machinery, scheduled for release in 2012. Barry is currently working as special consultant for rotating equipment for PDVSA in Venezuela.
