Erik Jensen is an applied computational mechanics specialist currently working as a Research Faculty and Adjunct Professor at CU Boulder. He has a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering and Geomechanics from CU Boulder, and he specializes in implementing and managing production-level simulations for material calibration, uncertainty quantification, and verification and validation work. Previously, Dr. Jensen worked in industry as a computational mechanics specialist at Quest Integrity focusing on fitness-for-service and remaining life estimates of civil infrastructure and mechanical systems and for Los Alamos National Laboratory working on validation and regression testing for the laboratory’s research codes.
