Dr. Chris Alexander, PE: About the Author
General Manager, Engineering, Acuren
Dr. Chris Alexander, PE is currently the General Manager, Engineering at Acuren. Prior to this, he was the Founder and President of ADV Integrity, Inc., which sold to Acuren in April 2024. For more than 30 years he has been involved in the assessment of damaged high-pressure pipelines, resulting in the publication of more than 170 technical articles and presentations. He received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. In 2023 he formed the Composite Technology Advancement Group (CTAG) that brings together pipeline operators, technology companies, regulators, and service providers to address issues related to the deployment of composite solutions for the energy industry.
