R. Peter Weaver: About the Author

Over three decades, Mr. Weaver has engaged nearly every facet of midstream fuel and chemical operations across North America and Europe. Since 2016, he has led industry adoption of satellite technologies within the energy and mining sectors. His career includes a decade of advocating in Washington, DC, engaging innumerable agencies and the US Congress. He previously held roles in ExxonMobil’s chemicals business and engineering and operations roles in midstream terminal operations. He also served as a licensed officer in the Merchant Marines. Peter holds degrees from UCLA and UVA and lives on the Gulf Coast with his wife Kristin.
