Glenn Roemer

Glenn Roemer is a Metallurgical Engineer who graduated with a B.A.Sc. from the University of British Columbia in 1985. He started out working in investment casting and boron diffusion coatings and subsequently worked on materials research at UBC and the Alberta Research Council (ARC). At ARC, he worked on ceramic superconductors, wear materials, ballistic armor, and Thixomoulded Mg alloys. For the past 24 years at IRISNDT as a Senior Materials Engineer, he has mainly worked in the Petrochemical Industry, providing failure analysis and materials selection with specialties in high-temperature and elastomer materials.
