Mr. Vermillion has 35 years of engineering experience in the Corrosion & Metallurgical Engineering and Mechanical Integrity space with expertise in metallurgical failure analysis, material selection, asset integrity & reliability, and the development & deployment of long-term strategic initiatives to ensure equipment safety and reliability. Mr. Vermillion has worked for a number of companies in a variety of technical and managerial roles, including Aventis CropScience (formally Rhone-Poulenc), ExxonMobil, Genentech, Saudi Aramco, and Marathon Petroleum. Currently, Mr. Vermillion is employed with Ashland Inc., supporting asset integrity management within their Specialty Additives and Intermediates Business Unit. Mr. Vermillion holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Materials Engineering from San Jose State University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states.
