Dr. Martus delivers engineering projects to government and industry. His employment history includes two international Fortune 500 firms. One appointed him to Global Practice Leader for services involving microbial degradation of crude and refined products. He has employed direct and indirect microbial analysis for many projects in European countries, Canada, and the USA. Dr. Martus authored many peer-reviewed journal papers and delivered presentations and workshops at international and regional conferences on these subjects. He earned a PhD focused heavily on petroleum hydrocarbon degradation from the University of Frankfurt, Germany. He earned his Diplom from Universitat Karlsruhe.
