Mr. Schaal delivers engineering projects to government and industry. His oil and gas experience includes pipeline and tank inspection, design, construction, and repair; refinery and water process design and O&M; and natural gas distribution system design and construction. He has published and/or presented over 50 papers. He received the President’s Technical Award from one employer, title of Senior Technical Associate from two previous Fortune 500 employers, and Pinnacle Achievement Award from a fourth. He conducted mid-career academic research in fluid flow/heat transfer at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. His MS from New Mexico State University focused on low-temperature aqueous geochemistry.
