Sascha Schieke: About the Author

Sascha started his career at the German Center for Space & Aeronautics in Germany where he worked on an acoustic monitoring instrument aboard the European space probe Rosetta. He joined General Electric in 2005 where he held different positions in engineering and product management related to nondestructive examination, condition monitoring & structural health monitoring using sensors, software, and analytics. He joined Molex at the end of 2015 as an Engineering Manager for fixed & rotating equipment monitoring solutions. Sascha has a Masters in Geophysics and a PhD in Engineering and currently owns 11 patents and patent applications as lead and co-inventor.
