Brian Macejko, P.E. is a Consulting Engineer II in the Mechanical and Structural Engineering Team of The Equity Engineering Group, Inc. (E2G). He is also an active member of the ASME/API Joint Committee on Fitness-For-Service, API 579-1/ASME FFS-1. He is the task group leader for Part 3 of API 579 Assessment of Existing Equipment for Brittle Fracture. Mr. Macejko brings approximately 20 years of experience as both an owner-user and consultant providing engineering support to refining, oil and gas, specialty chemical, and petrochemical facilities. The primary focus of his experience has been Fitness-For-Service, equipment design (including advanced design by analysis methods), maintenance and repair, failure analysis, and remaining life assessments for fixed equipment. He is a registered Professional Engineer in four states and has authored or co-authored more than a dozen technical publications. His broad experience with all stages in the full life cycle of fixed equipment allows Mr. Macejko to be a valuable consulting resource to the industry.
